Spring/Summer 2006: We share free food (almost all vegan--- ask us what's not) Saturdays and Wednesdays at 1:30 PM in the community garden across Dupont Street from the Hive (319 S. San Francisco Street, one block south of Butler, formerly a church). Bad weather may drive us inside the back building of the Hive. We start cooking about 2-1/2 hours before serving and stay 1-2 hours after.

We currently pick up from Whole Foods in Tempe around 10am. Folks meet up at a house called The Tribe (2238 N. 24th St - NW corner of Oak St, adjacent to Ace Hardware) around 11am to help cook. The phone number for The Tribe is (602) 466-2879. We serve by 3pm at Patriot"s Square Park in Downtown Phoenix, located on Jefferson Street between Central & 1st Avenues. We are looking for folks with access to transportation for the pick-up/serving, while actively seeking non-motorized alternatives to do the deed.
